Proposed Kaipara District Plan
The Proposed Kaipara District Plan which controls how the District develops and is managed for the next ten years is being publicly notified on 21 October 2009.
The submission period starts on Wednesday 21 October and closes Friday 18 December 2009.
How can I view the Proposed Kaipara District Plan?
This website has been set up just for the Proposed Kaipara District Plan which will provide you with the following information as it becomes available:-
- The latest version of the Proposed Kaipara District Plan and maps, including the latest amendments as a result of submissions;
- Up coming consultation events and opportunities for you to talk to Council on the Proposed Plan;
- Frequently Asked Questions;
- A summary of Rules in the Proposed Plan that have legal effect; and
- Section 32 Reports, Summaries of Submissions and further submissions, Hearings Reports, and Council decisions.
The website will be kept updated to keep you informed of the process that Council is following to achieve an Operative Kaipara District Plan.
How can I have a say?
Submissions have now closed. If you have made a submission you will recieve an acknowledgement from Council. If you have not recieved an acknowledge please contact Council.
Council is now compiling a Summary of Submissions Report. This should be ready in eary February 2010. Once this Report is ready Council will make it avaliable and will notify the futher submission period. More informaiton will be avaliable on this process and how you can have your say in January 2010.
